The DelFest Foundation was born from the DelFest Music Festival and is built upon the music, values, and ideals of Del McCoury and the entire McCoury family. “Good Works Through Music” is our mission, to nurture community and support a healthy environment through partnership with non-profit organizations in Allegany County.
The Foundation receives funds from a variety of sources but primary are those channeled from engagement at DelFest and the DelFest Foundation Raffle. Over $700,000 has been funded to charitable organizations in the Western Maryland region since our inception in 2009.
How to APPLY
If your organization is interested in submitting a letter of inquiry for funding, please submit your non-profit’s idea for a project that can lead to lasting change for the population you serve. Letters should be no longer than two pages. Unfortunately, we will be unable to respond to all letters but will focus on the projects of greatest potential for positive impact.
